I read 1000 pages in the last 3 days.

Went to Nagoya Castle on Friday. I prefer sight-seeing alone or with my friends. I hate being on someone else's schedule or being told to take pictures when I alreayd said no. ><
The castle's nice though, and we went to a tea ceremony afterward. If my computer ever works again, I will post pictures.

Saturday, I went to get my souvenir shopping done. Headed to Kinokuniya and realized Harry Potter was out. Grabbed the last American copy, as well as The Da Vinci Code (on sale for 700yen!).
Spent much of Saturday night and Sunday reading Harry Potter.

Sunday night was a "party" my host threw, where she invited my advisor and 2 of her students that I had already met. I don't know if I am projecting my own feelings, but I think my advisor is acting more and more cold and hostile towards me.... and I think the students felt it too. They were much more quiet than last time.

Monday, I went to a flea market and bought some more stuff. Then back to the apartment because it's too freaking hot to be out..... I think it got up to 34degrees? Anyway, started the Da Vinci Code and finished around 1am this morning with breaks for food and some TV. Wish I could read that fast when it comes to textbooks.


Wow, such a soap opera the Harry Potter series is now. Everyone's just a walking ball of hormones. My high school wasn't like that...... Wait, it was totally like that. He went out with that person who just dated that person who is best friends with the first person.

some thoughts (with spoilers) in white:
Mybe I just want Snape to be redeemed, but anyone else think Dumbledore was pleading with Snape to kill him? If Snape didn't kill Dumbledore, then Voldemort will know that Snape is a traitor and they lose the inside man, so Dumbledore was pleading with Snape to keep up his role.....
I want to know if Regulus has a middle initial. I can't remember if he was mentioned in the previous books, but I feel like he was mentioned one too many times here.
Anyone else think Harry was stupid not to wonder if the Half-Blood Prince was someone bad? My first thought actually was Voldemort......
So Harry's not planning to return to Hogwarts? I thought the next book was supposed to be "year 7 at Hogwarts"....
